"Hillary Orbits Venus" Now Available for E-Readers

As a girl, Hillary Rodham Clinton wrote to NASA asking how to become an astronaut, only to receive a reply saying that NASA wasn’t accepting women as astronauts. This was the tale that inspired my 1999 alternate history story “Hillary Orbits Venus,” which is now available in e-form in Wildside Press’s Sixth Science Fiction Megapack, which also includes stories by Nancy Kress, Philip K. Dick, Arthur C. Clarke, Samuel R. Delany, George Zebrowski, and more. And it’s a bargain at the price.

An Auction for a Worthy Cause

In an effort to increase diversity in the sf community, Con or Bust helps people of color attend SFF conventions and is administered by Kate Nepveu under the umbrella of the Carl Brandon Society, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Tor has donated copies of my novels Earthseed and Farseed to an auction to raise funds for Con or Bust, and you can bid on the books here. Bidding is now open and closes Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
