"Venus Flowers at Night," a new story set in the background of Pamela Sargent's Venus trilogy, is now out in the original anthology Microcosms, edited by Gregory Benford.
Pamela Sargent's Eye of Flame: Fantasies, a collection of fantasy stories with an introduction by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, is out from Five Star Press, a division of the Gale Group, as part of its "Speculative Fiction" series.
Coming in October 2004: Thumbprints, a collection of stories that will include a new short novel by Sargent, will be published by Golden Gryphon Press with an introduction by James Morrow.
Pamela Sargent will appear as a special guest at WindyCon XXX, to be held on November 7-9, 2003, at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, Illinois.
A new story by Pamela Sargent, "Utmost Bones," will appear in Envisioning the Future: Science Fiction and the Next Millennium, edited by Marleen S. Barr and to be published by Wesleyan University Press in September 2003. Other authors in this collection include Marge Piercy, Walter Mosley, Kim Stanley Robinson, Harlan Ellison, and George Zebrowski.
